Rule no. 1 is – have fun.

Your child should be allowed to enjoy the foods offered at the party, including snack foods and birthday cake like other children. It’s helpful if teachers can inform parents in advance of special parties so they are aware of the cause of a possible rise in their child’s BGL’s.
